The Somerset County Police Youth Week is held each summer at no cost to eligible students entering 9th grade or having just graduated 12th grade. This is the 11th year that the Somerset County Police Academy has hosted the program. Participation in Police Youth Week will provide attending students with an overview of the components of the criminal justice field. Students will receive a practical understanding of a law enforcement officer’s daily job responsibilities. The program is conducted through both classroom and practical based exercises providing the student with not only an academic understanding but also a “hands-on” experience.

If you are eligible, please fill out the registration form in the brochure and return it to the Police Youth Week Coordinator by June 1, 2008
