The following are directions to the Bernie Field Parking Deck in Somerville, which provides free parking for visitors to the Administration Building, Courthouse and other nearby County facilities.
FROM THE NORTH
Take Route 287 South to Exit 17, formerly Exit 13 (Route 202-206 South)
Landmark: Pass Bridgewater Commons Mall on left; stay to right, Turn right onto Route 22 East
Immediately after the 2nd overpass, turn right onto Grove Street (just past the Kentucky Fried Chicken)
At the 2nd traffic light, turn left onto East High Street Entrance to Parking Deck in one-half block on right.
Park in the deck (Levels 2-6); Administration Building is via the GREEN (2nd) level of the parking deck
FROM THE SOUTH
(Via Route 287)Take Route 287 North to Route 22 West
Landmarks: Pass the Courier-News and Fleet Bank on the right
Immediately after the 1st overpass, turn right (see sign for Somerville)
Bear right, go up over overpass; this leads to Grove Street (left fork)
At the 2nd traffic light, turn left onto East High Street
Entrance to Parking Deck in one-half block on right
Park in the deck (Levels 2-6); Administration Building is via the GREEN (2nd) level of the parking deck
FROM THE SOUTH
(Via Route 206)Take Route 206 North
Landmark: On Route 206 North approaching Somerville, look for a low stone wall on left (Duke Gardens)
Shortly past this wall and traffic light at Duke Parkway, go over bridge and turn right onto Bridge Street (Somerville)
At 3rd traffic light, turn right onto East High Street
Entrance to Parking Deck in one-half block on right
Park in the deck (Levels 2-6); Administration Building is via the GREEN (2nd) level of the parking deck
FROM THE EAST
Take Route 22 West
Go under Route 287 overpass in Bridgewater
Landmarks: Past the Courier-News and Fleet Bank on the right
Immediately after the next overpass, turn right (see sign for Somerville)
Bear right, go up over overpass; this leads to Grove Street (left fork)
At the 2nd traffic light, turn left onto East High Street
Entrance to Parking Deck in one-half block on right
Park in the deck (Levels 2-6); Administration Building is via the GREEN (2nd) level of the parking deck
FROM THE WEST
Take Route 22 East into Somerville
Landmark: Pass Ethicon, Inc., on left Immediately after the 2nd overpass, turn right onto Grove Street (just past the Kentucky Fried
Chicken) At the 2nd traffic light, turn left onto East High Street
Entrance to Parking Deck in one-half block on right
Park in the deck (Levels 2-6); Administration Building is via the GREEN (2nd) level of the parking deck
To The Prosecutor's
Office -40 North Bridge Street
Exit the Parking Deck at Level 2 (Green Level); You are now at the
entrance to the Administration Building first floor.
Walk through the Administration Building first floor lobby and exit the
building.
Turn right on Grove Street and walk to the first traffic light at the
corner of Grove and High Streets.
At the light turn left, walking on West High Street toward the first
traffic light on the corner of West High and North Bridge Streets.
At the corner of North Bridge Street, the building to your left is where
the Prosecutor's Office is located 40 North Bridge Street.
The handicap accessible ramp is to your right.
Take the elevator to the 3rd floor reception area.
Somerset County facilities are handicapped
